Brass Billets

Brass Billets

As per standard definition, a billet is a length of metal that has a round or square cross-section. In Brass industry, Billets are created directly via continuous casting. Billets are useful for further processes via extrusion, rolling and drawing. Billets are also known as bar stock. Billets have a very specific grain structure which enables the metal to be processed more intricately. Billets are nothing but semi-furnished casting product that needs further processing before becoming finished goods.
